I grew up in Florida surrounded by beautiful flowers! My grandmother Emily was the president of her local garden club back in the day, and my mom and dad always had our yard looking like a picture out of a magazine. If you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would either tell you, "a florist" or "a teacher!"

Five years ago, my daughter Paige Stewart began her own floral business named Paige’s Petals, based in Lee’s Summit. As an "almost" empty-nester, I began helping her on the weekends and absolutely love to assist her with beautiful flowers on wedding days. I know the time, effort and expense on the part of the bride that goes into planning a memorable wedding. Many brides and families at the close of the wedding day have had no other choice but to discard gorgeous flowers. We envisioned offering floral preservation services to brides in the local KC metro area. For a solid year, we studied, researched and worked on pressing excess flowers from weddings and events. Each flower variety is totally unique and requires a certain process to preserve. We are excited to offer traditionally pressed flower preservation -- a way for brides, mothers-of-the-bride and others to remember their special day with a tangible keepsake. We also offer memorial floral preservations as a way to cherish memories of your loved ones.

“Preserved Petals by Amy" offers pressed florals in a variety of sizes and frame styles. We currently operate in the Kansas City area but accept flowers from all over the USA!

My husband is a missions pastor at a local church and we currently live on 11 acres in Harrisonville, where my studio is located. I'm the mom to four daughters, four sons-in-law, and a proud grandma of a darling granddaughter and grandson! - Amy Boll
